Lobster Lake
The forecast for our 4 day outing was looking bleak, at best. One website predicted nothing but straight rain every day. However, at 6:00 on
Saturday morning, Erick and I chose to go with the more optimistic website (3 days of rain and one day of sun) as we loaded the truck and

"BLISS" Shakedown Cruise

Regardless, "BLISS" still has strong traditional looks and people often mistake her for wood. Anyway... we bought her knowing that we would need to put a little time and money into her before she was ready to sail.

Temperature-wise, it was reasonably comfortable except at the summit where the wind was bone-chilling required hiding behind boulders for
shelter.(more)
The Blueberry Muffin Challenge
Seeing that yesterday was my cheat day (yes... another New Years diet) and I needed a good excuse to eat badly, I came up
with the idea for the "Blueberry Muffin Challenge". The idea being that I would ride a 26 mile loop through Marshfield,
Duxbury, and Kingston, visiting all the local bakeries and sampling their blueberry muffins.(more)
