Day 56 (7/13/03) 2 Hrs: This is it for a while. Today I applied fillets to the undersides of the seats. A 6' 5" man with claustrophobia is not meant to be working under a hull in 90 degree temps. I literally finished this step with one disposable glove remaining, and enough epoxy to coat a pencil. I will have to re-supply before attacking the sailing components and doing the finish work on the hull. Now, I am going to put the boat in the water, and get some use out of it. Kind of an extended shakedown period. There will be plenty of time in the Fall to do the finish work, and I need to save up for the sail. Besides, I've been working on this since March and just went over the 100 hour mark. I'm due for a little play-time. This evening, I put the boat on the trailer and made all of the necessary adjustments. It fits nicely.
